ATWT 46th Anniversary
On April 2, 2002, the cast and crew of As the World Turns
got together on-set to cut a cake in honor of ATWT's 46th anniversary
on the air!
Which led us here at the official website, www.AstheWorldTurnsTV.com,
to ask the actors:

Just what do you give a show on its 46th birthday?
Cady McClain (Rosanna): A big, fattening
cake.
Helen Wagner (Nancy): You give thanks.
Grateful thanks.
Ellen Dolan (Margo): A prime time movie!
Agim Kaba (Aaron): A party that Brooklyn
will never forget.
Kristina Sisco (Abigail): A vacation.
Paul Taylor (Isaac): No over-the-hill
type memorabilia.
Anne Sayre (Mitzi): I don't know. Is
it cotton?
Jon Hensley (Holden): I know what
I want to say, but I'm not going to say it.
Maura West (Carly): Pint of Guiness.
Colleen Zenk Pinter (Barbara): Another
46 years.
Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily):
Cases and cases of champagne. For everybody.
Don Hastings (Bob): I don't know.
We got cake. And good ratings would be good, too.
Craig Lawlor (Adam): You hire ten new
beautiful girls to fight over Billy and Adam.
Hunter Garner (Billy): I told him to
say that.
Martha Byrne (Lily/Rose): Nudity. I
think it's time. After 46 years on the air, I think you deserve
a little nudity. I might show a cheek or two. For this show, I think
I've done just about everything, except that. So, one cheek. If
it would guarantee ratings, I would maybe show two.
Michael Park (Jack): A prostate exam.
When you turn a certain age, you got to make sure that everything
is in line. That is, if ATWT is a man.
Scott Holroyd (Paul): I can't top that.
