So, Aaron and I had a date today. We changed a
tire together and then had a late lunch at Java.
OK, so the changing tire part was for our new jobs
at Burt’s Garage. And the late lunch at Java
part was because Jack Snyder took us there since
it was his tire we fixed. But details. You know,
Aaron totally needs to get out more... he’s
been spending too much time sitting around writing
letters to poor crippled Lucy. It’s SO not
healthy. Oh yeah, that’s Aaron and Lucy’s
new thing... PEN PALS. I think they’re both
being a little melodramatic, like they’re all
STAR CROSSED or something. And you want to know
the real kicker? I’m their glorified mailman
(me and Kevin Costner)!! At least that’s what
they think. I’m good at the letter collecting
bit... just not so hot at it. But whatever. Buy
some stamps if you want to make sure your mail gets
where it’s going, OK? You should have seen
Aaron’s last one: "You could always make
me dream, Lucy... what I’m not sure you know
is that in every dream I have, you’re always
there." Yeah, in his NIGHTMARES! Ugh!! It’s
enough to make me want to chuck up my chai latte.
But I think I’ve got the situation under control...
those letters Lucy and Aaron wrote to each other,
well wouldn’t you know it, the slippery little
suckers jumped right out of my hands… and into
Craig Montgomery’s. A little light reading
for Lucy’s daddy... I’m all about the
literacy thing. I’ll totally keep you all posted.
