St. Jude's 2002!

The stars mixed, mingled and mamboed the evening of October 18, all in
the name of raising money for a fabulous cause -- St. Jude's Hospital.
(For complete coverage of the event, click

So, we asked them: "You're here raising money for St. Jude's. But
what charity do you think your character would support?"
Michael Park (Jack): Jack would support C.U.R.E. C.U.R.E. for
Cancer in Rochester, New York. It's a wonderful organization that helps
support families of children with cancer, and the surviving families of
children who've had cancer.
Paul Taylor (Isaac): Isaac supports the Bartenders Fund of America.
It's a small but very needy organization. Send all donations to Oakdale/97
½ Java Underground. That's actually the address. We don't disclose
what we do with the money, but the important thing is to give.
Don Hastings (Bob): Public Radio and Television. That's very important
in this country.
Anne Sayre (Mitzi): I think Mitzi would support the Lonely Hearts
Club.
Elizabeth Hubbard (Lucinda): I think Lucinda covers a wide spectrum.
I think Lucinda, because of her experiences in Montega, would support
the U.S. Committee for Refugees, the International Rescue Committee and
the Women's Commission for Refugee Women and Children. I think the wonderful
thing about Lucinda is that she would cover lots of topics and needs.
When you have that kind of wealth, you can make a difference. If Lucinda
had known that Rose would throw the diamond into the sea, she would have
stopped it. She would take that diamond, sell it and help children someplace.
Scott Holroyd (Paul): What would Paul support? Whatever the organization
that helped Gary Coleman divorce his parents, that's what Paul Ryan wants
to do.
Mark Collier (Mike): I think Mike would probably support the same
thing I'd support. The Vietnam Veterans Foundation or the Ocean Conservancy.
The Ocean Conservancy keeps the ocean clean and prevents the killing of
sea animals. I'm not a tree hugger, but I do think you have to take care
of the oceans. And the Vietnam Veterans Foundation, they're the forgotten
veterans. In a time when our country is looking at freedom and looking
at the people who provided that, I think those people provided it. They
are the symbol of our belief, helping people who needed help.
Terri Columbino (Katie): Some sort of transplant charity, because
of Margo. And definitely the disease that Casey had, Guillain-Barre syndrome.
Lamman Rucker (Marshall): I think Marshall, based on his upbringing,
children and young people are very important to him. He's definitely a
child advocate.
Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily): Maybe March of Dimes. Something
to do with children, since her only reason to live in life is her child.
Paul Leyden (Simon/Donovan): Donovan would support the N.R.A.
and Simon would support testicular cancer. Because he's lost his. That's
a future story.
