ATWT: Here Comes The Bride(s) -- Part Two

In Part One, we looked at the wedding of Jessica (Tamara Tunie) and Ben (Peter Parros). Now, we look at the wedding that will have everyone talking, the marriage of Paul Ryan (Roger Howarth) and Rose D'Angelo (Martha Byrne).
This being Oakdale, there are plenty of hurdles that threaten to keep these two from making it down the aisle. For starters, the guest list could pass for Paul and Rose's version of Nixon's "enemies list." Disgruntled ex-lover Dusty Donovan (Grayson McCouch) and Barbara Ryan (Colleen Zenk Pinter), the mother-in-law-to-be from hell are only part of their worries. The ominous events at Paul and Rose's wedding rehearsal, and Paul's later discovery of Rose and Dusty together only add to the lingering sense that this is to be no ordinary wedding.
Martha Byrne (Rose) gave her thoughts on Rose's upcoming wedding. "I think Rose, being 34, she's been thinking about her wedding since she was a little girl. She's really thrilled to be marrying the man that she loves, even as all these horrible things have been happening." Byrne added, "It turns out to be very fairy tale-esque. Rose's dress is really like Cinderella. It has a real moody feel to it."
Byrne summed up Rose's feelings about the wedding. "All she's trying to do is be happy, and marry the man that she loves. And nobody wants her to do that, apparently, in this town."
Will Paul and Rose get hitched without a hitch? Hang on to your rice and watch the Dec. 9 episode.
