Bailey Chase joined the cast of the long-running CBS daytime
drama AS THE WORLD TURNS, on January 29, 2003, in the
role of impetuous medical student Chris Hughes.
AS THE WORLD TURNS is not Chase's first daytime role
-- he appeared briefly on The Young and the Restless.
The actor also played Graham Miller on Buffy the Vampire
Slayer and stars in the soon-to-be-released thriller Rats.
He has guest-starred on JAG and VIP, and Chase
can be seen in such films as Cosmo's Tale, The Stray
and Billboard Dad. His theater credits include A
Comedy of Errors and Death of a Salesman.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 1, Chase grew up in Naples,
Fla. He left Naples to attend Duke University on a full athletic
football scholarship, and, upon graduating, spent time in
Los Angeles and London. While in London, the actor studied
at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Chase is involved with the Rick Wilkins Foundation,
a charity that helps adults with disabilities, and plays in
the charity's annual golf tournament.
Chase currently lives in Manhattan, and, in his spare time,
enjoys kung fu and hiking with his dog. |
