| Emma is the stereotypical home-cooking open-arm mother. Emma is very loving with her family, willing to help out in any way. Though set in her ways and prideful, with enough coaxing she can be convinced to change to ease the burden of running the farm alone.
She is a hopeless romantic and matchmaker, dispensing advice and gently prodding together whatever people she sees as a perfect couple.
She is also protective of her family, and once a member of her family is harmed, she carries that grudge with her, always trying to keep the offending person at bay.
Joe D’Angelo was shot while protecting Rose and Flashdance in the Snyder barn. Emma offered both Joe and Rose to move in with her while he recovered, and explained how loney she had been feeling recently. Once he recovered, Joe moved back to Hoboken.
