Kim is one of the bedrock, model citizens of Oakdale. You can always expect her to be straightforward with an honest opinion, like it or not. Though she has a “high-minded” set of morals, she’s not one to denigrate another that doesn’t follow that set. She’ll attempt to convince them of the error of their ways.
When Dr. Bob had his affair with Susan, Kim was deeply hurt/betrayed. It took a long time for her to trust Bob again. A few years ago, she finally buried the hatchet, effectively forgiving Susan, and dropping the grudge against her. On rare occasions, though, Kim gets a twinge of resentment when she sees Bob/Susan together, friendly.
Kim put aside the past and asked Molly to become the news anchor again, to help the sagging ratings since Katie’s fiasco and firing.
While assisting Adam and Abigail investigate certain aspects of the “mystery woman” who they theorized killed Nick Scudder, Kim was assaulted and knocked unconscious, her purse and incriminating videotapes stolen.
