Back on the Case(y)
New Jersey high-school senior, Ian Boyd, has been cast in the role of Casey Hughes, son of Tom and Margo Hughes and namesake of Katie's late dad, Casey Peretti. Prior to being cast as Casey, Ian appeared on Guiding Light as young Billy Lewis in a scene that he remembers as having, "Billy, Reva, and Josh in it," and as young Jake McKinnon on Another World in a scene on a swing-set with Vicky. On his first day at ATWT, Ian reveals, "When I went to wardrobe, I thought – This looks really familiar. I asked Joanna (HartsHorne; Sarah) if AW ever shot here. She said, yes. And I thought: Oh, that's why it feels so familiar. I've been here before. That's why it's so comfortable, not nerve-wracking." Ian first airs as Casey on February 19.
