B&B's Amber: Is She Losing It? As if Amber (Adrienne Frantz) hasn't experienced enough tragedy in her young life, now she is about to lose baby number three! Amber has tried desperately to have a family with Rick (Justin Torkildsen) , and after losing two babies of her own, she felt comfortable in the knowledge that at least she and Rick had little Eric. Recently, Amber's life has been turned upside down since Deacon (Sean Kanan), with the encouragement of Macy (Bobbie Eakes), has wanted to become a part of little Eric's life. Unfortunately for Amber, things spiraled out of control and she and Rick ended up in a custody battle against Deacon and Macy. Amber was absolutely devastated when the judge awarded custody to Deacon and Macy. "She's literally going crazy. She's going insane -- she's snapped," explained Adrienne Frantz. "She's lost two babies of her own and then to find out that the one baby she promised Becky that she would raise and take care of, she can't even keep her promise to her cousin. Someone wants to come and take him away now. So she's just lost; she's absolutely lost her mind."
Amber was never one for calm and rational behavior, so when she returns home from the courthouse, her first instinct is to not abandon little Eric. "It was just such a split decision for her," acknowledges Adrienne. "She was like, 'My little boy doesn't want to leave me and you know want? I'm not going to make him,' and she just left. I think she's completely justified in her actions. If somebody did that to me, I would have done the same thing." Now that Amber has taken such a radical action, it remains to be seen whether Rick will be able to forgive her. "Amber is going to really get pushed over the edge, really freaked out on this one," shares Rick's portrayer. "It's really going to be too much for her, and that's going to hurt Rick and Amber's relationship quite a bit." So what can fans expect for the Rick and Amber? "Chaos. Lots and lots of chaos," teases Adrienne. "It's definitely going to be very interesting and very intense from here on out. It's basically going to go from one thing to the next, and it's just one giant ball of story and it's not going to stop going for a long time. It's a very intense story."
