B&B: Is Lorenzo Hot Enough?

Breaking news! Lorenzo Lamas, who recently cast judgment on the faces and bodies of some of America's sexiest aspiring models on Are You Hot?: The Search for America's Sexiest People, has been cast as a contract player on The Bold and the Beautiful. Lamas is perhaps best known in the soap world for his role as Lance on Falcon Crest. On B&B, Lamas will play Hector Ramirez, a Los Angeles fireman and the father of the new Forrester Creations intern Caitlin Ross (Kayla Ewell). Lorenzo is first introduced as Hector when he comes to pick up Caitlin from the Insomnia Café, where he believes she is working as a waitress. Much to his disapproval, Hector soon discovers that his daughter is actually intent on pursuing a career in the fashion business, which he finds superficial and frivolous. Being a fireman, Hector strongly discourages his daughter from this career path. Watch out for Lamas's first B&B airdate on Feb. 18 and keep checking back here for an interview with B&B's newest cast member.
