MICHAEL BARROW (director of photography) is a long-time industry veteran, having served as a professional gaffer on such films as "Dirty Dancing," "House of Games" and "Extremities." He has also worked closely as chief lighting technician with acclaimed directors of photography Robert Ellswit, David Watkins, Curtis Clark, Mike Fash, Peter Suschitzky, Haskell Wexler, Billy Williams, Kelvin Pike, Luciano Tovili, Alex Thomson and Tony Imi. Barrow was the director of photography on the final 36 episodes of HBO's "The Days and Nights of Molly Dodd," starring Blair Brown. Since the series ended, he has worked steadily as a director of photography on numerous projects including the independent film "Me and Veronica," directed by Don Scardino and starring Elizabeth McGovern, Patricia Wettig and John Heard; James Mangold's "Heavy," a 1995 Sundance Film Festival award winner starring Liv Tyler; the documentary "Wigstock;" and an episode of Fox TV's "New York Undercover." Barrow recently finished second unit photography for David O. Russell's "Flirting With Disaster," and Largo's upcoming "This World and the Fireworks," starring Billy Zane and Gina Gershon. He most recently completed work as the director of photography on another upcoming feature, "Sunday."
