Born in Merano in 1943, Lino Capolicchio achieved success first in television and then in film as one of the most interesting actors of his generation. Capolicchio worked with the most important Italian directors from Giuseppe De Santis to Elio Petri, from Mauro Bolognini to Lizzani and the Taviani brothers. Lately, he has been concentrating his efforts on directing.
