LIVING IN OBLIVION represents Catherine Keener's
second teaming with director Tom DiCillo,
having starred in his debut feature, JOHNNY SUEDE. Among Keener's other film
credits are appearances in such films as ABOUT LAST NIGHT, SURVIVAL QUEST,
BACKTRACK, SWITCH, THELMA & LOUISE and THE CEMETERY CLUB. Most recently she has
starred in HEROINE OF HELL and THE DESTINY OF MARTY FINE.
Keener has extensive training in regional theater and has made numerous
appearances on television ranging from a guest-starring stint on "Seinfeld," to
regular roles on "O'Hara" and "Knightwatch." Since filming LIVING IN OBLIVION, she completed a role in Stacy
Cochran's BOYS, alongside Winona Ryder and Lukas Haas. Keener lives in Los
Angeles with her husband and OBLIVION co-star, Dermot
Mulroney.
