Since making his mark in Gus Van Sant's groundbreaking DRUGSTORE COWBOY, James Le
Gros has gone on to build a consistently interesting and acclaimed career in
film. Lately seen in the independent feature FLOUNDERING and in Alan Parker's
MRS. PARKER AND THE VICIOUS CIRCLE, his other recent credits include BAD GIRLS,
WHERE THE DAY TAKES YOU, GUN CRAZY, SINGLES, and MY NEW GUN. Early roles include
BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, PHANTOM and FATAL BEAUTY and he has also appeared in
Oliver Stone's BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY and in NEAR DARK and POINT BREAK, both
by Kathryn Bigelow. A veteran of the regional theater circuit, Le Gros has
appeared in productions of "Slab Boys," "American Buffalo," and "Curse of the
Starving Class," and continues to alternate between stage and screen.
