


FRANK PRINZI
Cinematographer
An award-winning graduate of NYU Film School, Frank Prinzi has served as
cinematographer on numerous features, shorts, and commercials. Dividing his
between New York and Santa Monica, his credits include the films SLEEPWALK (by
Sara Driver), THE SUICIDE CLUB, John Woo's BETTER TOMORROWS II, THE PRINCE OF
PENNSYLVANIA, TAD and the George Romero color production of NIGHT OF THE LIVING
DEAD, released by Columbia Pictures.
He also photographed Cal Skaggs' JOURNEY TOWARD GENIUS, starring Modine, and Dean
Parisot's Oscar-winning short, THE APPOINTMENTS OF DENNIS JENNINGS. For
television, he has filmed episodes of "True Blue," "Gideon Oliver" and, for two
years, the hit series "Northern Exposure." For the latter, Prinzi received a 1992
Emmy for "Outstanding Cinematography" and a nomination in 1993. As a director,
Prinzi has also done one episode of "Northern Exposure" as well as the hour-long
TV pilot "Heavenly Road" and the award-winning short, "Soldiers."
