Summit Entertainment is now positioned as a leading independent distributor, enjoying exclusive relationships with Peter Guber's Mandalay, Bernd Eichinger's Constantin, as well as associations with Tom Rosenberg's Lakeshore among others.

Mr. Wachsberger's recently executive produced FEAR AND LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS starring Johnny Depp, directed by Terry Gilliam, THE LOSS OF SEXUAL INNOCENCE directed by Mike Figgis and SPLENDOR directed by Gregg Araki.

Prior to running Summit Entertainment, Mr. Wachsberger served as President and CEO of Odyssey Entertainment and Odyssey Distributors, Ltd., a company he created in 1988. His first acquisition there, PELLE THE CONQUEROR, won both the Oscar as Best Foreign Language Film and the Palme d'Or at Cannes.
