OLEG JANKOWSKIJ (Larsen)

Oleg Jankowskij studied at the Saratov Theatre High School, graduating in 1965. He played at the Saratov Dramatic Theatre from 1967 - 1973. Since 1973, he has been with the Lenin-Komosol Theatre in Moscow.

A major star in his native Russia, Mr. Jankowskij has starred in over 70 films. Among them: "Sword and Shield," "Two Comrades Serve Once...," "Strange Letters," "A Simple Wonder," "The Kiss," "To Kill the Dragon," "The Passport," "Dreams of Russia," "Assassin of the Tsar," and the Cannes Grand Prix winner "Nostalghia." His award-winning performances include "In Love By Request" and "Filyor -- The Golden Tulip."

Mr. Jankowskij is an Honoured Artist of the Russian Nation, as well as a Permanent President of the Russian Film Festival at Sotchi. He lives in Moscow.
