Alexander Buchman

Russian-born Alexander Buchman graduated from medical school and became an entrepreneur. He entered the film business in 1992, founding Avrora Media GmbH. The company has produced three Russian/German co-productions: Dimitry Meskiev's "Over Dark Waters," Sergej Solowjov's "Three Sisters," and Sergej Debishev's "Two Captains."
Mr. Buchman also produces entertainment and theatrical productions. He is a member of the management board of the Moscow International Film Festival. He lives in Berlin.
