REBECCA EATON (Executive Producer) was appointed Executive Producer of WGBH's "Masterpiece Theatre" and "Mystery!" in 1985. During her time as Executive Producer, the two series have won five Emmy awards, two Peabody awards for Excellence in Broadcasting, and have featured such high-profile series as "Middlemarch," "House of Cards," and "Prime Suspect."
Eaton has been with WGBH since 1972, when she joined as a producer of radio arts magazine programs. Over the years she has produced many PBS television documentaries. Eaton's other production credits include: producer/director of "Violette - A Life in Dance" (1982), producer/director of "Pat Ewing and the American Dream" (1981), producer of "Hot Nights and Cold Nights" (1980) and a series of films by independent filmmakers.
