JEFFREY TAMBOR's (Clement Greenberg) prestigious career spans the worlds of film, television, and theater. His performances on the critically acclaimed series "The Larry Sanders Show" earned him an Emmy nomination and a Cable Ace nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Jeffrey Tambor can soon be seen as the Mayor of Whoville in Ron Howard's "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." In addition to "Pollock," Tambor most recently co-stars in James's Mangold's "Girl Interrupted," which stars Winona Ryder and Angelina Jolie. He also co-starred in Kevin Williamson's "Teaching Mrs. Tingle," for Dimension Films, and Tim Hill's "Muppets in Space." His film credits also include the Farrelly brothers' blockbuster hit "There's Something About Mary," "Meet Joe Black," and "Dr. Doolittle," "City Slickers," "And Justice For All," "Life Stinks," "Three O'Clock High," George Lucas' "Radio and Murders, " "Heavyweights," "Big Bully," "Article 99," and "Mr. Mom."

In addition to his celebrated role on "The Larry Sanders Show," Tambor starred in his own series, "Mr. Sunshine," and was a series regular on NBC's "Everything's Relative" and the CBS pilot "Me & George." He has starred in numerous mini-series and films for television, including "The Man Who Captured Eichman," for TNT, HBO's "Comic Relief VI," the PBS special "Living and Working in Space: The Countdown Has Begun," "The Bounty Hunter," "Burden of Proof," for ABC, "Honey Let's Kill the Neighbors," "Alcatraz: The Untold Story," "Take Your Best Shot," "R.F.K.," "Billy Greir, Billy Greir," "Sadat," and "Cocaine: Another Man's Poison." He also co-starred in HBO's "Weapon of Mass Distraction" with Gabriel Byrne and Ben Kingsley. Tambor had recurring and guest starring roles on "L.A. Law," "Hill Street Blues," "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Murder, She Wrote," "Empty Nest," "Golden Girls" and "Who's the Boss?"

He starred in the Broadway production of "Sly Fox," directed by Arthur Penn. He also starred, off-Broadway, in the New York Shakespeare Festival production of "Measure for Measure," directed by John Pasquin. His additional theater credits include, "The Hands of It's Enemy," directed by Gordon Davidson, "Flea in her Ear," directed by Tom Moore, and "American Mosaic," directed by Gordon Hunt. Tambor has fourteen years of regional theater experience, which include productions at the Seattle Repertory Theatre, the Actors' Theatre of Louisville, the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, the Academy Festival Theatre, the San Diego Shakespeare Festival, the Loeb Drama Center at Harvard University, and the South Coast Repertory Theatre.
