JON KILIK (Producer), a native of Millburn, New Jersey, and graduate of the University of Vermont, began working his way up the production ranks in 1979 on Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories." Kilik was an assistant director on "Raising Arizona" and "Crocodile Dundee," and the production supervisor on John Huston's "Prizzi's Honor." In 1988, he started working with Spike Lee, co-producing "Do the Right Thing," "Mo' Better Blues," "Jungle Fever," "Malcolm X," "Crooklyn," "Clockers," "Girl 6," and "He Got Game." Kilik also produced Robert De Niro's directorial debut "A Bronx Tale" and co-produced Robert Altman's fashion farce "Ready to Wear."

In 1995, Kilik produced Tim Robbins' Academy Award winner "Dead Man Walking," which starred Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn. He also produced Julian Schnabel's directorial debut "Basquiat," starring Jeffrey Wright and David Bowie.

Most recently, Kilik produced Tim Robbin's "Cradle Will Rock," Gary Ross's directorial debut "Pleasantville," and Spike Lee's "Summer of Sam." Currently, in addition to "Pollock," Kilik is producing Julian Schnabel's "Before Night Falls" and Spike Lee's "Bamboozled" for release in 2000.

He has participated in panels sponsored by the American Film Institute, the Sundance Institute, the Independent Feature Project, the National Children's Creative Writing Campaign, New York University, and the various film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin, and Venice.
