PETER M. BRANT (Executive Producer) is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Brant-Allen Industries, Inc., a business he jointly owns with Mr. Joseph Allen. He has over thirty years of experience with the company and is largely responsible for its growth from the nineteen-seventies to the present.

In addition to his responsibilities at Brant-Allen, Mr. Brant is a successful entrepreneur whose interests range from art to architecture to real estate to publishing. In addition to "Pollock," he and Mr. Allen recently executive produced Julian Schnabel's "Basquiat," for Miramax Films. Mr. Brant also produced the Andy Warhol films "L'Amour" and "Bad." He is an owner of Brant Publications, Inc., which publishes Art In America, Antiques, and Interview magazines. He is President of the Advisory Board of the Guggenheim Museum in SoHo, and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation.

Mr. Brant is the developer of Conyers Farms in Greenwich, Connecticut and North Castle, New York. The 1,500-acre Conyers Farms property was purchased in 1981 and has been developed into one of the premiere residential communities in the country. In addition, Mr. Brant is the general partner of Field Point Road Associates, an office building in Greenwich, Connecticut that was designed by Philip Johnson, and is the owner of 575 Broadway Associates, a 160,000 square-foot retail and office building in SoHo, New York.

Mr. Brant is the founder of the Greenwich Polo Club and the Saratoga Polo Association and the co-founder of the Bridgehampton Polo Club. He is a world class player and is currently the highest ranked amateur polo player in the United States.

Among the various associations and memberships to which he belongs, Mr. Brant is a member of the Advisory Board of Chances for Children, the Executive Committee of the Canadian Pulp & Paper Association, and was instrumental in the development of the Greenwich Recycling Program.
