IDAN QUINN (Kieran O'Day) made his feature film debut 17 years ago in "Reckless" opposite Daryl Hannah. Born in Chicago, the second of five children, Quinn was raised by Irish immigrant parents. The family lived in Ireland for two year-long stints when he was three and thirteen. After completing high school in the US, Quinn returned to the 'Emerald Isle' where he often attended lunchtime theatres, where for fifty pence he would receive soup, sandwich and a chance to see Irish plays. He would eventually work in Ireland himself, starring in "The Playboys" and "Michael Collins."

"Working in Ireland is something that I love," says Quinn, "but because it's with the script Paul wrote and directed, and that Declan shot, it's extra special." He says of his and Declan's involvement as Executive Producers, "we are much more involved with the film than we would be otherwise. It gives the process an extra pressure." Quinn says of the story: "It deals with Ireland as a country, both present and past. Everybody is dealing with both the demons and blessings of being Irish and young people are really dealing with these issues. It's good though, because it's an evolving time for Ireland and it has already radically changed so much. Some of it is for the better and some of it not."

At 19, Aidan made his stage debut in "The Man in 605." In New York, he made his New York debut in Sam Shepard's acclaimed drama "Fool For Love" and then took the title role in a modern-day "Hamlet," directed by Robert Falls. After "Reckless," Quinn starred in "Desperately Seeking Susan" and "The Mission" before receiving an Emmy nomination as a young man suffering from AIDS in NBC's "An Early Frost," the first movie made about the disease. In 1987, he starred in the PBS/American Playhouse production of Arthur Miller's "All My Sons," after which he garnered a Theatre World Award for his portrayal of Stanley Kowalski in the Broadway production of "A Streetcar Named Desire."

Quinn's film roles include: "Stakeout," "Avalon," "At Play in the Fields of the Lord," "The Playboys," "Benny & Joon," "Blink" and "Legends of the Fall." Quinn also starred in "Michael Collins" and in a dual role in the international thriller "The Assignment." Recently, he has been seen in "In Dreams" with Annette Bening and Robert Downey, Jr. He recently completed '50 Violins" directed by Wes Craven, playing opposite Meryl Streep.
