Zinedine Soualem (Djamel) has appeared in a number of films, including Mathieu Kassovitz's "Hate" and Costa Gavras' "Hanna K." He has had roles in both of Cédric Klapisch's earlier features "Riens du Tout" and "Le Péril Jeune." His roles in the theater include performances in three plays mounted by celebrated avant-garde director Ariane Mnouchkine, "Les Atrides," "L'Indiade" and "L'histoire Terrible Mais Inachevée de Norodom Sihanouk Roi du Cambodge."
