Open to U.S. (excluding Florida) residents and Canadian (excluding Quebec) residents 18 years of age and older

1. How to Enter: Beginning June 4, 2004 at 9:00AM Pacific Time (PT) and ending on July 16, 2004 at 5:00 PM PT, you can enter the 50 First Dates Sweepstakes sponsored by Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, with hotel accommodations provided by Hilton Hotels Corporation, soundtrack provided by Maverick Records and air travel provided by Hawaiian Airlines. Internet Entry: Go to www.sonypictures.com/50firstdates and follow online instructions to complete the entry form ("Internet Entry") with your email address, first and last name, street address, city, state/province, zip/postal code, phone number (including area code,) age and gender. If an Internet winner is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must obtain parental/legal guardian consent prior to entering or personally submitting identifiable information. Limit one (1) Internet entry per person, per day. Multiple Internet entries in excess of the stated limit by the same person/e-mail address will be disqualified. Internet entries must be received by 5:00PM PT on July 16, 2004. Mail Entry: Type or legibly hand print your name, complete address with zip/postal code, day and evening phone number, age, gender (email address optional) on a 3" x 5" plain piece of white paper. Mail your entry postmarked no later than July 16, 2004 to: Sony Pictures 50 First Dates Sweepstakes PO Box 5248 Carson, CA 90749. Mail entries must be mailed separately, postmarked by July 16, 2004 and received by July 23, 2004. Mechanically reproduced and photocopied entries are not acceptable. All entry information for Internet entries and mail entries (collectively "Entries") must be provided in full. You may enter once per day per person, but each entry must be mailed separately in a hand-addressed envelope. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Any other attempted form of entry into the Sweepstakes other than described herein is void. No responsibility is assumed for lost, late, illegible, misdirected, damaged entries or postage due mail. No responsibility is assumed for technical, electronic, telephone, hardware, software or network, computer or data transmission errors, malfunctions or difficulties of any kind.
   
   
2. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to all legal residents of the United States (excluding Florida) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are physically located and residing therein, and who are 18 years of age or older as of June 4, 2004. Residents of Quebec (Canada) and Florida (US) are not eligible to enter. Employees of Sponsor, Hilton Hotels Corporation, Hawaiian Airlines, Maverick Records, Strottman (Sweepstakes Administrator,) their advertising agencies, promotion agencies, those involved in the production, development, implementation or handling of Sweepstakes, any agents acting for, or on behalf of the above entities, their respective parent companies, officers, directors, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, service providers, prize suppliers, and other persons associated with the Sweepstakes (collectively "Sweepstakes Entities") and/or members of their immediate families (spouses, children, siblings, parents, regardless of where they live) and/or persons living in the same household as such persons, whether or not related, are ineligible to enter. No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted, and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value if the designated prize should become unavailable for any reason. Limit one prize, per person, address and/or household. Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law. Sweepstakes subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws, rules and regulations. Prize recipient will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prizes based on the value of the prize as set forth in these rules. If applicable, Winner may receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. No groups, clubs, newsletters or organizations may reproduce or distribute any portion of these rules to their members, and anyone who enters this Sweepstakes through means not permitted by these rules is disqualified. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges which are final and binding in all respects. Grand Prize Winner and Guest will be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release and any other documentation that Sweepstakes Administrator and/or Sponsor require within ten (10) days of receipt of those documents, or an alternate winner may be selected. Any personal information supplied by entrants to Sweepstakes Entities will be subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, which is located at www.sonypictures.com/corp/privacy.html Thus, except where prohibited by law and Sponsor's Privacy Policy: (1) entry and/or a winner's (winner's parent/legal guardian, if winner is a minor) acceptance of a prize constitutes permission of winner (or, if minor, his/her parent/legal guardian) for Sponsor to use such winner's name, address (city and state/province) photo, likeness, biographical information, statement and voice for advertising/publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media (including posting on Website) in perpetuity, without further notice to, or compensation in connection with said Sweepstakes or the prize awarded and (2) Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or the Website or any Website related to the Sweepstakes; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with this Sweepstakes will be disqualified and will be ineligible to win a prize and will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as originally planned, Sponsor, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Sweepstakes or any portion(s) thereof and conduct the drawing from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (as appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. In case of a dispute over the identity of an entrant who submitted a winning Internet Entry, the registered owner of the email account associated with that Internet Entry may be deemed the entrant at Sponsor's sole discretion, and may be required to provide proof of ownership of the email account and comply with these Official Rules in order to win a prize. By participating in this promotion, all participants and prize winners agree that the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for any injury, loss, illness, litigation or damage that may occur from participation in the promotion or acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prizes. In the event that any dispute arises regarding the meaning or interpretation of these official rules, participants agree that the dispute shall be resolved by applying the laws of Delaware and that it shall be resolved by and within the courts of that state. 3. Prizes/Odds of Winning. One (1) Grand Prize ("GP"): One (1) trip for GP Winner and one (1) guest ("Guest") to Hawaii consisting of: Round-trip coach class air transportation for GP Winner and Guest from a major commercial airport near GP Winner's residence to Oahu, Hawaii. Winner and Guest will receive five (5) days and four (4) nights hotel accommodations at The Hilton Hawaiian Village (one room, double occupancy.) Winner and Guest will also receive one (1) massage each at the Mandara Spa in Hawaii and admission for two to Sea Life Park with the option to participate in their "Splash U" interactive dolphin program. Total Grand Prize Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $3,572.00US. Actual value will depend on point of departure and any airfare fluctuations. Subject to availability and blackout dates. GP Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary. Twenty-one (21) day advance booking and Saturday night stay required. Travel must be completed by August 1, 2005. Sponsor will not replace any lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates. Once booked, no change, extension or substitution of trip date is permitted, except by Sponsor at its sole discretion. If GP Winner is from a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, he/she must be accompanied by his/her parent/legal guardian and such person must pay his/her own expenses, unless deemed to be the Guest of the Winner. GP Winner is solely responsible for all other unspecified incidentals, including but not limited to meals, ground transportation to and from airports, gratuities, phone calls, travel documents, and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included. Fifteen (15) First Prizes: Fifteen winners will receive one (1) set of the following movies on DVD: Anger Management, Big Daddy and Mr. Deeds. ARV for each First Prize is $54.85 US. ARV for all First Prizes is $822.75 US. Fifteen (15) Second Prizes: CD Soundtrack from the film 50 First Dates. ARV of each Second Prize is $14.99 US. ARV for all Second Prizes is $224.85US. Odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible Internet and mail entries received. Each winner is solely responsible for all costs, incidentals and any other expenses not specifically mentioned as being included. Prizes will be shipped to US and Canada addresses only. Any descriptions of prizes are for illustrative purposes only.
   
   
4. Winner Drawing and Notification: Potential winners will be randomly selected from among all eligible Internet and mail entries received in a drawing to be held on or about July 30, 2004 ("Drawing Date") by the Sweepstakes Administrator, and independent judging organization. [If a Canadian resident is selected as a potential winner, he/she must answer correctly, a time-based, mathematical, skill testing question administered by phone/mail to be eligible for a prize.] If a winner is a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, respective prize may be awarded in the name of his/her parent or legal guardian. Potential GP Winner (if resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor, his/her parent/legal guardian) will be notified by mail, phone and/or email within approximately 2 weeks of the Drawing Date. If a potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, he/she is found to be ineligible, he/she cannot or does not comply with the Official Rules, or if his/her prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, that potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner may be selected.

6. Disclaimers: Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible or liable for Entries that are entered by other than human means (such as by an automated computer program or any non-human mechanism, entity, or device), or for Entries that are illegible, late, destroyed, lost, misplaced, stolen, misdirected, tampered with, incomplete, deleted, damaged, incomplete, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules and all such Entries will be disqualified. By entering Sweepstakes, each entrant (his/her parent/legal guardian if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) agrees and acknowledges to be bound by the Rules and Laws, as well as the decisions of Sweepstakes Administrator which are final and binding in all respects; to waive any rights to claim ambiguity with the Rules and Laws, and that Sweepstakes Entities shall have no responsibility or liability (including, but not limited to, liability for any property loss, damage, personal injury or death) in connection with: participation in Sweepstakes; use/misuse of a prize (including, but not limited to, cancellations and delays or any change by the air carrier(s), or other company or any other persons providing any of these services for the Grand Prize winner and his/her guest during the trip the Grand Prize winner won due to reasons beyond control of Sponsor and/or Sweepstakes Entities and park closures or activities that are not available at time of trip); human error; incorrect or inaccurate transcription of Entry Information; any technical malfunctions of the telephone network, computer online system, computer dating mechanism, computer equipment, software, or internet service provider utilized by Sweepstakes; interruption or inability to access Sweepstakes, Web Site, or any online service via the internet due to hardware or software compatibility problems; any damage to entrant's (or any third person's) computer and/or its contents related to or resulting from any part of Sweepstakes; any lost/delayed data transmissions, omissions, interruptions, defects; and/or any other errors or malfunctions, even if caused by the negligence of one of the Sweepstakes Entities. Each entrant (his/her parent/legal guardian if a resident of a jurisdiction that deems him/her to be a minor) further agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability resulting or arising from Sweepstakes, to release all rights to bring any claim, action or proceeding against Sweepstakes Entities, and hereby acknowledge that said Sweepstakes Entities have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize.
