Toru Emori - Gin

Toru Emori Born in Tokyo on January 25, 1944, Emori made his theatrical debut in 1963 in a Bungakuza (a theatre group) production of 'Tosca'. In 1974, he won the 8th Kinokuniya Theatrical Award for his role of Jago in 'Othello', and then went on to win the Japanese Academy Ward Best Supporting Actor with his performance in 'Shaso'(1989). He has also had remarkable achievements as a theatre director and playwrite; he won the 2nd Yomiuri Theater Award for Best Direction for his direction in 'Westside Waltz' and 'Koibumiya Ichiyo'. His notable works include 'Marutai no Onna'(Dir. Juzo Itami, 1997), 'Keiho 39 jo'(Dir. Yoshimitsu Morita, 1999), and 'Hiwa Mata Noboru'(Dir. Hiyoshi Sasabe, 2002). His performance as a voice actor can be seen in animation films such as 'Adieu, Galaxy Express 999'(Dir. Rintaro, 1981), 'Harmagedon: Genma Taisen'(Dir. Rintaro, 1983), and 'Doraemon - Nobita no Nankai Daiboken'(Dir. Tsutomu Shibayama, 1998).


Yoshiaki Umegaki - Hana

Toru Emori Born in July 12, 1959, Umegaki first joined the comedy theatre group WAHAHA HONPO in 1984 and went on to start his own series called 'Umechan no Aoi OO' in 1988. His proven popularity as a TV personality in various TV programs and commercials have led him to give performances in such films as 'Muma'(Dir. Ryuichi Hiroki, 1994), 'Gamera2: Advent of Legion'(Dir. Shusuke Kaneko, 1996), '20 Century Nostargia'(Dir. Masato Hara, 1997), 'Samurai Fiction'(Dir. Hiroyuki Nakano, 1998), 'A Class To Remember 4: Fifteen'(Dir. Yoji Yamada, 1998), 'Gohatto'(Dir. Nagisa Oshima, 1999), and 'Genryu-to'(Dir. Seiji Chiba, 2003).


Aya Okamoto - Miyuki

Toru Emori Born in Tokyo on December 9, 1982, Okamoto, who made her debut performance in 'Kagero'(Dir. Hideo Gosha, 1991), first caught public's attention with her performance in 'School for Ghosts'(Dir. Hideyuki Hirayama, 1994). Other films she has performed in include 'Ichigo Domei'(Dir. Tsutomu Kashima, 1997), 'Roshin'(Dir. Tazuko Makitsubo, 2000), 'Ogyaa'(Dir. Fujiro Mitsuishi, 2002), and 'Azumi'(Dir. Ryuhei Kitamura, 2003). She has starred in a popular NHK morning TV drama series 'Audrey' in 2001. Other TV performances can be seen in 'Genroku Ryoran'(1999), 'Shu No Sumika'(1999) and 'Ichigen No Koto'(1999). Her popularity with young audiences has led her to be in numerous TV commercial, and also her own video/DVD has been released.
