The Ladies of ATWT & GL Take on the Fashion World!

ATWT's Maura West (Carly) and on-screen cousin, Lesli Kay (Molly).

Lesli Kay (Molly; ATWT): Molly reads everything from Ladies' Home Journal to Ebony. Because Molly is a journalist and a writer. She was a romance novelist. She's a subscriber to every single magazine. I, on the other hand, am a subscriber to no magazine. I don't like having to tie them up and throw them away to recycle. Unless I'm at the grocery store and I see a tip I really need, I don't buy the magazine.

Beth Chamberlin (Beth; GL): The magazines I read are Traditional Home, Good Housekeeping, and Woman's Day. Also, Guideposts, which is completely on a different subject. I guess I'm praying that my house will come together well. I do also occasionally, if my husband brings it home from his office, read Better Homes and Gardens. And I think Beth Raines reads Architectural Digest, Gourmet Magazine and some sort of parenting magazine that would deal with Lizzie's age, troubled adolescents.

Elizabeth Keifer (Blake; GL): I read Vanity Fair, I read Vogue, I read all the soap press. But I don't think Blake is a Highlights for Kids kind of mom. She probably doesn't have any parenting magazines, either.

Yvonna Kopacz (Mel) and on-screen mom, Kim Brockington (Felicia).

Yvonna Kopacz (Mel; GL): I read In Style, and I have a subscription to Allure. I like Vogue. Mel probably reads medical reports. I don't think Mel reads any fashion magazines. And now she's going to be a lawyer, so she studies. No magazines for Mel.

Jessica Dunphy (Alison; ATWT): I am a magazine freak. I've got 20 magazine subscriptions. I read Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, Home Decorating. I've been reading Martha Stewart for a long time. Also, In Style is the best. I really, really read a lot of magazines. But I don't think Alison reads Martha Stewart. I think Alison reads Seventeen, Cosmo Girl and Vogue Girl. Alison is very much into fashion. She's very trendy, even if her style is hit or miss. She's young, she wants to be up on all the trends. And sometimes she makes a fashion mistake. Like maybe at Emily's wedding...
