Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily; ATWT) with daughter Sophie May.

A working mom is a working mom -- whether or not her job involves kidnappings, murder trials, splashy weddings and/or nearly nude scenes (sometimes all at the same time).

At the end of the day, soaps' working moms still have to juggle balancing work and family, just like every other working mom in America.

That's why, on this Mother's Day, SoapCity asked the stars of ATWT and GL: What's one tip you can offer your fellow working moms to make everything balance and work out?

Kelley Hensley (Emily; ATWT): Find something to do for yourself. Something. It could be 15 minutes in the bathtub or a 45-minute run, just something to do for you. Because you do and do and do for everybody at P&G and CBS and your husband and your kids. It's very hard sometimes, but the most minute thing just helps you keep it all together.

Marj Dusay (Alex; GL): Don't get hysterical. And when you get hysterical, at least admit it. Admit it to your children when you get hysterical. Let them know that Mother knows she's hysterical. At least, that way, they're not terrified of you. In my book, all kids ever need to get is the truth. It doesn't matter what the truth is. Children can seek out the truth like pigs hunt for truffles. They'll find it out anyway. You might as well admit that you're hysterical and you're sorry.

Elizabeth Keifer (Blake: GL): Forgive yourself. And understand that their screaming and crying probably will stop within two minutes of you leaving, which is very important to know. You have to set priorities and you have to compromise. There are days when you have to say no to your kids, and there are days when you have to say no to that extra thing that you want to do. Oh, and the breast pump was my friend. That saved me. Pump it and freeze it. Very important.
