Part #1: Teens & Couples!

Part #2: Gus & Families!

Part #3: Daniel Bedingfield Serenades Danny and Michelle!

(From l-r) Marty West (Shayne), Justin Deas (Buzz), Aubrey Dollar (Marina), Frank Dicopoulos (Frank) and Amanda Serkasevich (Darcy).

The 2003 Bauer BBQ will be a weeklong blowout of patriotic festivities, romantic reunions and grisly discoveries. Naturally, SoapCity is here to bring you all the behind-the-scenes action!

In part one of our celebration, we focus on the teens and couples of GL. To check out a photo gallery of Springfield's lovebirds enjoying the celebration, click here.

And to find out what's on the minds of Springfield's teens as they frolic, barely clothed, in the Bauer hot-tub this hot 4th of July, read on!

Aubrey Dollar (Marina): I think Marina's mindset at the BBQ is full of very warm, family feelings. Shayne is there and he fits into all that really well. I think they're really close at the BBQ. They don't know it's the eye of the storm.

Crystal Hunt (Lizzie): What is Lizzie thinking about at the BBQ? Shayne. She wants Shayne. She wants to have him to herself. That's all she's about. She wants him for herself and no one else. She can't stand that Marina's got him.

Marty West (Shayne): I think Shayne likes Lizzie as a friend. I think he also detects that she's got a little crush on him, but he doesn't pay her attention romantically because he really just wants to focus on Marina. Also, Shayne is graduating from high school, he's figuring out what he's going to do with the baseball. This is the most stuff going on in his life that Shayne has ever had. I think he's about as full of emotion at the BBQ as he can be. Oh, and this is my, Marty's, first shirtless scene. I wish GL had sent out a memo a month ago, because I've been eating a lot of cheeseburgers lately....

Jordi Vilasuso (Tony): Tony is thinking about his own future with Marah at the BBQ. I think he's excited about it, but, at the same time, he's kind of pensive. He's thinking that everything is going so well for him right now, and Marah is the person that makes him feel safe. She makes him feel that, "Okay, I can really live my life past a certain age." I don't think Tony ever thought that he would live past a certain age. He just lived day by day, and his future was uncertain. Now he feels, "Wow, I can live a normal life. I have this person that I entrust everything to. I want to live the rest of my life with her."
