Aubrey Dollar debuted on the long-running CBS daytime drama, GUIDING
LIGHT, on Jan. 15, 2002 in the role of wild child Marina Cooper. After
running away from home to escape her mother and reunite with her father,
Frank Cooper, Marina is learning the meaning of tough love.
Dollar, who grew up in Raleigh, N.C., with her younger sister, Caroline,
and her parents, Terri and Clark, left her studies at Boston University
to pursue a career in acting. Her leap of faith paid off: She has appeared
in the WB's Dawson's Creek, Showtime's Going to California and
CBS' The Education of Max Bickford. Her film credits include the
soon-to-be-released The Perfect You, Trapped and Children
of the Corn II. In addition, Dollar's theater credits include The
Diary of Anne Frank, The King and I and Gypsy.
In her spare time, Dollar enjoys writing, camping and singing. Her birthdate
is Sept. 23.
