Gavin Alexander Houston made his debut on the CBS daytime drama GUIDING
LIGHT on April 24, 2002 in the role of Remy Boudreau. This earnest
college student is the son of Springfield University dean Clayton Boudreau
and psychiatrist Felicia Boudreau, and brother of doctor Melissande.
As a child, Houston had two passions: acting and athletics. Growing
up, he appeared on NBC's The Cosby Show and in numerous television
and print advertisements. Prior to joining the show, this native of Teaneck,
NJ received his Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Florida. While
studying, Houston immersed himself in the world of dramatics. He performed
in many of his school's theatrical productions such as The Balcony
Scene, The Game, and To Be Young, Gifted and Black.
In addition to acting, Houston, an accomplished gymnast, has participated
in exhibitions with Olympic Gold medalists including, Mary Lou Retton
and Mitch Gaylord. Moreover, his discipline in martial arts has earned
him a brown belt.
Houston, who has an older sister, Tonza, was born on April 24. |
