Yvonna Kopacz made her debut on the CBS daytime drama GUIDING LIGHT
on September 4, 2001 in the role of Mel Boudreau. This feisty medical
student, daughter of Springfield University dean Clayton Boudreau and
psychiatrist Felicia Boudreau, is drawn to the love-lorn Rick Bauer.
Much like her ambitious character, Kopacz worked hard to get where she
is today. At the age of eighteen, the California native entered a Seventeen
magazine modeling contest where her exotic features earned her a trip
to the Wilhemina Agency in New York City. After modeling for two years,
the actress returned to California where she completed two years at the
University of California at Berkeley. Later, the actress pursued acting
seriously and with great success landed herself a part on NBC's daytime
drama, Days of our Lives, in the role of Wendy. In addition, she
has appeared in the television series Cosby, and Nash Bridges.
Her movie credits include Anywhere but Here and The Hardest
Part. In theater, the actress appeared in Five A.M., Dreamgirls,
and Working.
Kopacz, who is renovating a brownstone in Harlem, currently lives with
her boyfriend. While not working, she enjoys yoga and making jewelry.
Her birthdate is January 8. |
