Stephen Martines first appeared on the CBS daytime drama, GUIDING LIGHT, on October 15, 2003 in the role of "Tony Santos," who has returned to Springfield with a mysterious agenda.

Martines is best known for his role as "Nikolas Cassadine" in the daytime drama General Hospital. Formerly known as Coltin Scott, Martines made the decision to change his name back to Stephen in honor of his father's memory.

In his spare time, Martines enjoys writing songs, playing golf and skiing. When younger, Martines aspired to be a professional soccer player, but was sidelined with a knee injury. The injury led Martines to redirect his energy in pursuit of an acting career.

When not acting, Martines works on his music career. His birth date is July 23.
