Arrives in town when May Merisi, his agent on the Santos case, calls
him in to make a deal with Danny Santos to roll over on other crime
families in exchange for immunity against criminal charges. Danny
balks at the deal and Gus is forced to drop charges against Danny
after Danny's wife, Michelle, destroys the case files. Gus vows to
continue his investigation and does so with a reluctant Harley Cooper
as his partner. They disagree over Gus's dogged pursuit of the Santoses
and Harley's loyalty to the Bauer family. |
| 2002 |
Gus and Harley are partners on the job as well as off the job. He
has promised to drop his grudge against the Santos family for her
sake. He and Harley investigate the disappearance on Blake Marler
and the murder of Catalina Santos. Gus and Harley move in together,
but he won't tell her all the details of his past, including his juvenile
record. Phillip gets his hands on Gus's records and considers using
the info to win custody of Zack. Gus is reunited with his sister,
Eden. |
