Her vendetta against the Santoses stemmed from when she and her
brother Gus witnessed their father murdered by the Santos brothers
(Miguel Santos ordered the hit; Federico was the trigger man.) Eden
and Gus lured Federico Santos up on a roof in hopes of getting him
to confess to the crime. Instead, Eden veered from the plan and pushed
Rico off the roof. Gus took the fall for the crime and ended up in
a juvenile facility, while Eden fended for herself. |

When a disapproving Phillip learns that Gus and Harley are moving
in together, Phillip has the records unsealed and learns Gus was charged
with homicide. Gus comes clean about the night on the roof to Harley.
Phillip and Harley begin a custody battle which forces Gus and Harley
to consider breaking up. Harley brings Eden back to town in hopes
of clearing Gus's name and paving the way for the future of their
relationship. But Eden has other plans and she refuses to corroborate
Gus's story. She begins to try to seduce Tony Santos and gets close
to Carmen. When Danny and Gus manage to entrap Carmen for attempted
murder, Carmen blackmails Eden into destroying the evidence. Is stunned
when Tony forgives her for killing his father -- he wants the cycle
of violence to end. Eden still finds herself enamored with Tony. |
