Married pregnant, 17 year old Nadine Corley in 1962 and served first
tour in Vietnam in 1967. In 1970, volunteered for second tour
of duty and never came home. Nadine, realizing that Buzz had deserted
them, told Frank and Harley that their father had died honorably. Went
to Philippines after second tour in search of GI's pregnant wife
Sylvie, and told her what happened. She miscarried her baby, then
Buzz married her and they had Lucy. Sylvie left them when Lucy was
five. |

Finds out his daughter Harley knows he's alive and is looking
for him. She tracks him through VA hospital records. Buzz returns
to Springfield posing as Nadine's cousin, Rex Mancini, in the hopes
of blackmailing Nadine, who is married to millionaire Billy Lewis
and pretending to be pregnant.
His children realize who he is and after some strife, they reconcile.

Becomes involved with Jenna Bradshaw. To impress her, helps
ex-con Pauly Hardman recover $125,000 that Pauly stole many years
before and left in a locker while he was in prison. Buzz is arrested
for possession of stolen money and sentenced to pay back the government
in full.
Jenna and Buzz break up because Jenna feels that he is too connected
to his family, especially Nadine. Though still in love with Jenna,
Buzz remarries Nadine in order to legitimize participation in a
game show. They eventually win the grand prize and Buzz pays off
his debt to the government. Jenna leaves Springfield carrying his
child, unbeknownst to Buzz.

Nadine is murdered by Brent Laurence; Buzz is devastated.

Buzz falls in love with Reva Shayne. He marries Reva to help her
convince her former husband Josh Lewis that she no longer loves
him. Together, Reva and Buzz rally the community to fight Alan Spaulding's
attempts to oust Fifth Street property owners in favor of a multimillion
dollar development project.
Reva, caring deeply for Buzz but unable to resist her feelings
for Josh, files for divorce.
Jenna Bradshaw returns to Springfield with Buzz's son, Henry Cooper
Bradshaw. Jenna reveals she is married to Jeffrey Morgan, and claims
that Henry is Jeffrey's son from a past marriage.

Buzz, realizing he never stopped loving Jenna and convinced that
her marriage is a sham, again pursues his passion for Jenna.
Jenna reveals that Henry is their son.
Harley returns to town and teams up with Jenna to set her free
from her abusive spouse, Jeffrey. Meanwhile, Buzz successfully teams
up with daughter-in-law Eleni to have Jeffrey arrested and
convicted for stealing Spaulding bonds.
Buzz and Jenna reconcile and plan to marry.
Buzz discovers that Nola Reardon has been stalking him. When she
explains her intentions were innocent, they agree to keep her admission
their secret. An unfortunate accidental fall leaves Buzz with amnesia
and clinging to Nola, who is the first person on the scene to care
for him.
Buzz attempts to adjust to his family without his memory. On the
brink of running away, he learns Jenna is pregnant and decides to
stay.

Buzz is stunned to overhear that the baby Jenna is carrying is
Jeffrey's. An angry Buzz prepares to leave Jenna, but as his memory
of his and Jenna's love returns, he decides to stay with her and
raise the child as his own.
Befriends Jesse Blue and helps Jesse find his love, Michelle. Buzz
is depressed and suffers from losing his beloved Jenna, who dies
in his arms.

Buzz gets embroiled in Selena Davis' problems and helps her to
find the daughter she gave up for adoption. They become
close friends; later they get engaged. As they make plans for
their wedding, Selena's past comes back to haunt her. Fearful
for her own life and those she loves, Selena leaves town.
Buzz is devastated.

Buzz takes an interest in Holly Lindsey-Reade.

Buzz and Holly Reade's relationship becomes romantic, although they
have not slept together. Buzz is concerned when he learns his granddaughter,
Marina, ran away from California. When she shows up in town, Buzz
offers her a job at Company and wants her to be happy. Holly persuades
Buzz to visit his children in England. Buzz returns and demands Holly
tell him where their relationship is heading. |
