| Backstory: |
Holly Norris was raised by her mother, Barbara, after her father,
Stanley, abandoned the family. Once in her teens, she was reunited
with her father. He spoiled her by showering Holly with gifts to win
her affection. He also encouraged his young employee, Roger Thorpe,
to woo his daughter to keep her in line, thus starting Holly's long
entwinement with Roger. |

Holly is badly injured when she thinks her boyfriend, Roger Thorpe,
is cheating on her. She is unable to walk until Dr. Ed Bauer successfully
treats her. |
| 1973 |
Holly marries a drunken Ed in Las Vegas and gets pregnant by Roger
soon after. |
| 1975 |
Christina Blake is born. |
| 1976 |
Ed divorces Holly when he discovers that Christina is Roger's child.

| 1979 |
Holly marries Roger in January, but is raped by him in March, and
she shoots him in June. She goes to prison for his "murder"
and is stabbed in the abdomen by an inmate. |
| 1981 - 1989 |
Holly moves to Switzerland with Christina. She marries, and divorces,
Dietrich Lindsey while Christina is at boarding school. |
| 1989 |
Having returned to Springfield, Holly discovers that Roger is still
alive. She has a one-night stand with her ex-husband, Ed, while he
is separated from his wife. |
| 1990 |
Holly Is engaged to Ross Marler, who dumps her when he finds her
with Roger in a Mexican hotel room. She and Roger's wife, Alexandra
Spaulding, set up a test to prove whether Roger can remain faithful
to Alex. As it happens, it is the first time that Roger and Holly
connect peacefully since they both came back to town. |
| 1992 |
Holly is kidnapped and held at gunpoint by her obsessed lover Daniel
St. John, who is killed when Roger rescues her. She is grateful until
Ross informs her that it was Roger that brought someone from Daniel's
past to Springfield to drive him crazy. |
| 1993 |
Still in love with Ross, Holly catches him in bed with her daughter,
Blake, who was seeking revenge on her mother for "ruining"
her relationship with Alan-Michael Spaulding. |
| 1994 |
Reconciliation between Holly and Roger comes after he is shot by
Billy Lewis. |
| 1995 |
Holly has sex with Fletcher Reade on her desk because she thinks
Roger slept with Alexandra. After a failed attempt at reconciling
with Roger, Holly falls in love with and marries Fletcher. |
| 1996 |
Holly discovers she's pregnant. Despite the high risk of birth defects,
Holly decides to carry the baby to term. Baby Meg is born with Downs
syndrome. Holly is initially hesitant to see her baby, fearing her
competency as a mother, but she soon embraces being a mother to Meg.

Holly and Roger are continually thrown together by circumstance
and Holly softens towards him. |
| 1998 |
Holly gives up a kidney to transplant into Vanessa's baby daughter,
Maureen's. |
| 1999 |
When Roger and Amanda Spaulding make plans to marry and move to
California, Fletcher wants to move to Canada. Roger gives Holly an
ultimatum: choose him and he won't marry Amanda. A confused Holly
turns down Roger's offer but not before Fletcher catches them in an
embrace. Realizing she truly loves Roger, Holly goes after him only
to find he's already married Amanda. Fletcher leaves town, taking
Meg with him. Holly is devastated and develops a drinking problem.
Holly is revealed as the nursery rhyme stalker by Blake. She is placed
in a psychiatric ward and Fletcher comes to see her with Meg. Holly
plans to have a future with them but Fletcher takes off with Meg again.
Holly and Ross begin to date once again but eventually, he reunites
with Blake. |

Billy Lewis takes a liking to Holly and tries to convince her that
they should become more than friends. |
| 2001 |
Holly finds herself caught in the middle when Billy and Buzz Cooper
vie for her affections. |
| 2002 |
Holly and Buzz inch towards a romantic relationship. Things get
complicated when Holly's ex-husband, Ed, returns to town. |
