GL: Lindsey McKeon to Stay in Springfield
Despite rumors to the contrary, Lindsey McKeon (Marah) will remain on Guiding Light. McKeon said "I love Guiding Light. I love the people I work with." She went on to say, "I've grown so much since I've been there. It's a wonderful place to be. I love the work that I'm doing." Wanting to set the record straight, she said, "I'm not quitting. When my three-year contract is up next year, it will be my decision whether or not to move on and try other things for myself."
McKeon joined the cast of GL in 2001, and hit the ground running by earning a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2002. Not one to rest on her laurels, she picked up the nomination in 2003 as well.
