Synopsis

Short Synopsis: Anything can happen when Sister Bertrille is in motion! Sister Bertrille continues her missions as she flies in and out of trouble – even though her aims are always benevolent. A patient Mother Superior disapproves of the means but always supports the young novice.<br><br>Long Synopsis: Two-time Academy Award© winner Sally Field (1984, Actress in a Leading Role, PLACES IN THE HEART, 1979, Actress in a Leading Role, NORMA RAE) returns for a second season of fun in “The Flying Nun.” Sister Bertrille uses her ability to become airborne - via her “jet” cornet - to help others, whether they want it or not. Although her aims are always benevolent, her means are often bemoaned by Mother Superior (Madeleine Sherwood). The other Sisters (Shelley Morrison, Marge Redmond, Linda Dangcil) must cope with their beloved Sister’s aerodynamics and antics as she flies in and out of trouble with her canine companion, Horatio. A local club owner is usually Sister Bertrille’s partner in “crime”, helping the community and the convent.
