"You can get much farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone."
- Known as one of the most brutal and ruthless gangsters in history, Capone was involved in illegal gambling, alcohol and prostitution. He organized the infamous St. Valentine's Day massacre, the bloodiest gangland slaughter in history.
- At age 14, Capone was expelled for punching a teacher. Before embarking on his full-time life of crime, he was a candy store clerk, bowling alley pinboy and a book bindery cutter.
- In a typical Capone murder, an apartment was rented across the street from the victim's home, and the victim was shot down when he stepped outside. The procedure was always fast and efficient, and Capone never failed to have the perfect alibi.
