Amy Jupiter is currently Co-Producer of Hotel Transylvania, a full-length CG animated feature from Sony Pictures Animation. Jupiter was recently Co-Producer on Open Season, the first animated feature from Sony Pictures Animation, directed by Jill Culton and Roger Allers, co-directed by Anthony Stacchi.
Prior to joining Sony Pictures Imageworks, Jupiter served as Visual Effects Supervisor and Producer at Walt Disney Imagineering, where she worked on a number of high-profile, groundbreaking attractions for the Walt Disney theme parks. She was Visual Effects Director/Producer on EPCOT’s Mission: Space, which opened to rave reviews in Orlando, Florida in 2004. The project was recently awarded the 2005 TEA Award for Best Theme Park Attraction using new technology.
Additional projects on which she served as Visual Effects Supervisor, Director and/or Producer while at Imagineering include “Cinemagique” (TEA Award Best Theme Park Attraction, 2004), “Armageddon” (Walt Disney Studios, Paris), “Golden Dreams” (Disney's California Adventure) and “The Magic Lamp Theater” (Tokyo Disney Sea).
She also served as VP Production/Executive Producer/Executive Visual Effects Supervisor at Blue Sky Studios, working on such projects as "Bunny" (Academy Award®, Best Animated Short Film), "Alien Resurrection" and "A Simple Wish."
As Digital Effects Producer for Digital Domain, Jupiter worked on the critically acclaimed theme park attraction “T2/3D,” as well as Ron Howard's "Apollo 13."
Jupiter attended Pomona College in Claremont, California, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts. |
