Tim Sarnoff
Animation Supervisor
Sony Pictures Imageworks

Animation Supervisor Todd Wilderman joined Sony Pictures Imageworks in 1996 as an entry level animator. He is currently working on “Open Season,” Sony Pictures Animation’s first CG feature, supervising a team of animators on the character Boog.

When the “Stuart Little” script came to Imageworks, Wilderman was asked to create story sketches and character designs. Because he was involved in the production from the beginning, it gave him insight into the character and prepared him for animating. He did the same for the sequel, “Stuart Little 2,” and held the position of lead animator. These experiences were instrumental in preparing Wilderman for his current project, for which he has done a great deal of early story sketches, concept artwork and development animation.

Prior to joining Imageworks and while still attending California Institute of the Arts, Wilderman was recruited by Turner Feature Animation for an internship focusing on animation, clean up, in-betweening, and visual development. After the internship he was offered a full time position as an in-betweener on the traditionally animated feature film "Cats Don't Dance.”
