From the imagination of visionary director Tim Burton, comes the fantasy-rich and heartwarming tale “Big Fish.” Imageworks’ Visual Effects Supervisor Kevin Mack collaborates with Burton to bring to the screen effects only described by Edward Bloom (Albert Finney), a teller of tall-tales about his oversized life as a young man (Ewan McGregor).
To visually translate these larger-than-life stories, Imageworks created the effects of an underwater journey, Ping and Jing, the conjoined-twin lounge singers, creatures from an ominous forest, a vine-sprawling house, and the instance when ‘time stands still.’
