Allowing your heroines to jump out of jets, parachute into speedboats, and dodge bullets at point-blank range without mussing their hair and make-up is easy compared to leaving your audience exhausted and breathless.

Imageworks' effects not only had to imbue the Angel's with the ability to take on the world, they had to create a world tough enough to challenge the Angels.
