SONY PICTURES IMAGEWORKS PROJECTS HONORED WITH 5 VISUAL EFFECTS SOCIETY AWARDS NOMINATIONS

January 20, 2010 – CULER CITY, CA - Sony Pictures Imageworks, the Academy Award® winning, state-of-the-art visual effects and animation unit of Sony Pictures Digital Productions, was recognized by the Visual Effects Society (VES) with nominations for its work on CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS, G-FORCE, WATCHMEN, and 2012. The Visual Effects Society Awards will be presented on Sunday, February 28th at the Hyatt Regency Century City.
