The moment that I knew that we were meant for each other was the day we drove out to the hill country in Austin for lunch. Michael and I were strictly friends, but he took a day from studying and drove over 175 miles to come visit me in Austin for the day. It was so special because once there the drive out took like another 45 minutes, but I swear it seemed like 5 minutes. With him I truly lost track of time.

We went to a place called Mt. Bonnel and on the way he was such a gentleman holding my hand to help me up and down the steep rocks. Although it may sound corny, he gave me goose bumps each time he reached for my hand.

You see it took a long time for us to meet. After seeing him roam the halls of high school for 3 years and not having the guts to approach him, and 3 years of college in different cities, and two years of being just friends, it took us a long time to find each other.

On February 15, 2008 Michael asked me to be his wife. In my heart I knew that no matter the time or distance we would have ended up together somehow and someway. We were meant for each other.
