It all started in the summer of 2006, when I was cast as Miranda in Shakespeare's the Tempest in community theatre production. Trever was later cast as Ferdinand, Miranda's love interest. Needless to say we both took the route of method acting.

But after the play was over, we learned more and more about each other. I was anxious to graduate and mentioned how I wished I could step into a time machine and hurry to the future. I knew we were meant to be together on our one month "anniversary" when Trever built a "time machine". We're both a little dorky, so the cardboard contraption he made, with old knobs and photos of us really made me smile. I knew then that we were meant to be together. We got inside the machine and "traveled" to the future, telling each other what we saw. He said he saw us married, and I agreed. A year later, he proposed.
