Drew is the most amazing man. After getting himself through 4 year of undergrad and med school, Drew is now in his 4th year of residency to be a pediatric orthopedic surgeon so that he can help children.

He started asking me out on dates in Aug 06 but I did not think he was my type because he did not have a lot of manners a gentleman should have. He was a typical laid back snow boarding Colorado boy, and I decided that I could not date him because he did not know how to treat a woman.

Then in Oct 06 he went to South Africa for 6 weeks to do surgery and help people in a small, poor town. When he came back in Dec. he was a changed man, and I knew I was in for trouble! I told him I had a boyfriend, but he decided to pursue me anyways - thank God! I invited him over as friends after he got back from Africa (actually I invited him & his friend so that his friend could meet my sister, they did not hit it off, but we did).

Drew had changed into the most generous loving man. That is the night we both decided this was it. I broke up with my boyfriend because I could not lose Drew. He had decided this earlier, but being in Africa & coming home to see me confirmed it right away.

10 months later (Oct 2007) we were engaged. Drew's amazing trip to Africa to help people made us both realize we were meant to be. We hope to take these trip to help others in the future.
