Matthew and I initially met while out on dates with other people! My date happened to be his boss!! We however, seemed to immediately take to each other and our dates were fortunately similarly taken w/ each other as well. It was an unusual start but somehow we both knew even when the first introductions were made that this was going to be a very special person in our lives.

The first several weeks were filled with sushi lunch dates, bowling games, barbeque summer nights, and long emails and phone calls. Matthew literally swept me off my feet....with his sincerity and big heart he seemed too good to be true. We soon realized that the disappointments in the past from relationships that failed to measure up to our expectations were all worth going through because we found in each other someone willing to give 100% and more.

So to answer the question...there was just something there even in that first meeting....it sounds so cliché but I believe your heart knows when you’ve met your other half....your best friend & soul mate. We’ve definitely have found that in each other!!
