The first time we realized we were meant to be together was when we found out that his father was really sick. We hadn't been very serious up until that point and we were at a local restaurant eating lunch when he got the phone call. He never seemed like the vulnerable type of guy before that moment, but he broke down and for the rest of the day I stayed with him and tried to help him through.

I knew then that I loved him and wanted to be the one that would always be there to help him through good and bad times in life and he knew that day that he could trust me to be that person. We fell in love, he is my better half without a doubt and now we are engaged and happier than ever!
